Floods, power outages and extreme climate events are occurring with an alarming frequency. With research on a smart home system called eHUB, emergenCITY aims to provide a solution for total urban blackouts. The simulation game " eHUB cities – Blackout" playfully demonstrates how eHUBs can support us during natural disasters. Players learn how to be prepared, react quickly, and assist their neighborhood – to become the master of energy management.
